Join renowned artist Peggy Everett to be guided through the unique methodology of Plein Air painting. All supplies (canvas, oil paints, brushes, etc.) will be provided. Participants will learn how to make various colors with the four provided and will be led through the art of creating a Plein Air-inspired painting. This one-day studio workshop is required to attend one of Peggy’s three-day workshops.
All levels welcome: from beginners to professionals.
A boxed lunch will be provided and a light wine reception will take place at the end of the workshop.
$250 member/$275 non-members. Price includes the workshop, supplies, lunch, and wine reception.
About the instructor:
Everett was born in New York and raised in Atlanta. She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. Everett has had a varied career from court appointed juvenile officer to owning and operating a ranch in Colorado. She sold her first painting at age 15.
Everett has studied art in a variety of locales under other renowned artists. She studied:
portrait oil painting with Roman, Constantine and Marc Chatov
at the New York Studio school under Graham Nickson and Joseph Santore
at the Denver Art Students league with Quang Ho and Kim Englesh
at the Florence Academy of Fine Art (Florence Italy)
With Bob Kuhn, Russell Chatham, Scott Christensen, Clyde Aspevig, Andy Peters and others.
Everett has raised over $850,000 for Wildlife and Conservation Organizations through the donation of her paintings to like minded non profits. A portion of the proceeds from this class will go to Wing Haven for the continuation of their mission and programs.
